Director, Claims Service Operations

We are looking for a dynamic leader to direct the Claims Service Operations Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the management, investigation, and resolution of claims, ensuring a high-quality work product, while continuously developing talent by assisting with the selection of top talent. As a Claims Service Operations Director, you will promote a culture where all are committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be accountable for directing claims associates.

Managing and improving performance in claims has a significant impact on the profit and growth of the Company.

You will review workflow and procedures with other departments and within the Claims Department to recommend procedural changes.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the claims team follows all state regulations and statutory requirements which can be quite nuanced.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be willing to promote a positive and productive work environment. The candidate must be able to work under demanding conditions.

Claims Management experience is required.

Skill Requirements

Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills; proficiency in training software and tools; ability to analyze data and assess training effectiveness.

Ability to adjust training methods based on diverse learning styles and organizational needs. Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Ability to inspire and motivate employees towards personal and professional development. This role is crucial in ensuring that employees are well-equipped to succeed in their new positions, fostering a positive work environment, and contributing to overall employee retention and satisfaction.

The ideal candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and be willing to promote a positive and productive work environment.

The candidate must be able to work under demanding conditions.

Must be able to speak in a clear, empathic and professional manner by telephone

Must be able to document files in a clear, concise, professional written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization

Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by the insurance departments of various states

Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills

Must be able to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

Location

This position is located in the Dallas office (not remote) due to our growth for 2025 in this office.
