Director, Client Financial Services

Job Description:

The Systems Director of Client Financial Services is responsible for managing the overall functions of Firefly's revenue cycle to ensure the maximization of revenue and consistent cash flow while maintaining the highest levels of employee and customer relations. Position can be onsite or remote

Key Responsibilities:Therap System Management: Utilize the Therap system to manage client information, billing data, and service documentation.Month-End Closing: Perform month-end closing activities, including reconciling accounts, generating invoices, and ensuring all billing entries are accurate and complete.Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring all services are billed correctly and in a timely manner.Data Entry and Maintenance: Enter and maintain accurate client and billing information in the Therap system.Reporting: Generate and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.Leadership: Communicate with leadership regarding monthly revenue and resolve any discrepancies.Compliance: Ensure all billing practices comply with relevant regulations and company policies.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in a healthcare or social services setting required.Therap Proficiency: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Therap system required (or a like system used for social service billing)Accounting Skills: Solid understanding of accounting principles and month-end closing procedures required.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reporting.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.

Physical Requirements:

ADA Consideration - Sedentary work:  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up the 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.  Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
