Our Director, Client Strategy is an integral part of our Client Strategy team, working across a wide range of clients and projects. Our ideal candidate is located in the New York/New Jersey tri-state area.
Responsibilities:
Strategically guide corporate leaders on a wide variety of topics in the digital space, including digital strategy, digital and brand to demand marketing, digital product innovation & development, amongst others.
Develop a deep understanding of how our clients business and industry works in order to strategically guide them to success, whilst deepening client relationships & cultivating new opportunities
Optimize and own account revenue and profitability
Overseeing and guiding cross discipline digital consulting teams
Facilitating internal problem-solving, challenging hypotheses, and presenting clear recommendations to the client with thoughtful supporting evidence
Understanding and advocating for the client’s needs and goals
Working directly with the senior leadership to ensure the overall health, direction, and success of the accounts they oversee
Providing guidance and oversight to strategy, design, content, marketing, and development teams
Generating big-picture vision and seeing it through from ideation to implementation
Providing exceptional service to clients while delivering engagements on time and on budget
Work cooperatively with Modus project and product managers, strategists, designers, copywriters, creative directors, and other team members, as required
Report progress/updates and/or communicate with other team members, project leads, and our clients, as required
Other duties related to the position that may arise from time to time and may be assigned
Qualifications:
8+ years experience in professional services, with 4+ years leading strategic key accounts
Background in digital consulting with a strong emphasis on digital product strategy, UX, & brand to demand digital marketing
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong leadership, managerial, and customer relationship skills
Experience managing fiscal health of accounts/projects
Experience negotiating complex contracts
Global team management and remote team management experience
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and independent self-direction, along with a desire for team collaboration and open communication.
For New York City-based hires only: Compensation Range: $100,000-$150,000 base salary, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. Compensation ranges for candidates in locations outside of New York City may differ based on the cost of labor and such additional factors for such other locations.
