UPMC Home Health is hiring a Director, Clinical Operations. Leads directs and oversees the daily clinical and financial operations of the home health care agency. Provides overall management and oversight of clinical operations to ensure the delivery of quality patient care services in the most timely and cost-effective manner, that complies with all regulatory agencies and agency policy and procedures.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Maintains and adheres to the organization's standards of conduct, policies, and procedures.
+ Perform duties and job responsibilities in a fashion that coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians, and other departments within the organization
+ Participates in Process Improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of services provided
+ Monitors patient satisfaction, ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided
+ Accountable for agency performance related to process and outcomes measures
+ Manages and tracks all key Operational aspects of the agency budget
+ Ensures adequate staffing levels to meet patient needs, with budgeted productivity standards being met
+ Provides overall support and direction to Sr. Managers, Clinical Managers, and Patient Care Coordinators.
+ Responsible for all aspects of patient care delivery within the clinical operation's, multidisciplinary teams for home health.
+ Facilitates patient-centered care integration and timely coordination according to Conditions of Participation, Joint Commission standards, and the policies and procedures of the home health agency.
+ Completion of an accredited school of professional nursing bachelor's degree required.
+ Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in PA, BSN Required, OR Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of PA and/or (LPT) where applicable, required. Member of the American Physical Therapy Association preferred, OR Licensed Occupational Therapy License in PA required. Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred. Member of American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) preferred.
+ Master's degree in related field preferred
+ 5 years healthcare experience required
+ 3 years home health experience preferred
+ 3 years management experience required Proven ability to facilitate change. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ Automotive Insurance
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
+ Driver's License
+ Occupational Therapist (OT) OR Physical Therapist (PT) OR Registered Nurse (RN)

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
