Marketing & Communications - CommunicationsIn this critical role on the broader enterprise employee communications team, you will be responsible for designing and executing transformation and change communication strategies that are brought to life through compelling content, creative storytelling and engaging experiences including virtual and in-person meetings, town halls, interactive Q&As, and rich written, digital, and video communications.
Reporting to the Vice President, cross-function communications, you will work closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders on change/transformation communications, in addition to supporting internal and executive communications for the Technology & Operations organization.
Responsibilities
Leads the successful execution of transformation and change communications both within the corporate functions and strategic initiatives that originate out of the functions and for telling both Prudential’s transformation story and technology story within the Tech & Ops organization and across the enterprise by leveraging key themes such as Generative AI, Cybersecurity and building employees’ tech acumen.Works directly with leaders across the company to support ad hoc transformation and change communications and develop and implement change and change communications plans to support initiatives across the business and conduct assessments to measure plan effectiveness, as needed.Supports all internal communications for the head of Technology & Operations, including internal speaking engagements, organizational announcements, town hall scripts, etc.Leverage the resources and centers of expertise within the Prudential Communications organization – including creative & content, analytics, and research – to quantify and deepen communications impact, improve decision support and drive outcomes.Qualifications
10+ years of professional communications experience, demonstrating the ability to identify and tell memorable stories.Experience or certification with change management principles.Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills, including analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, which support sound decision making.Self-starter with a customer-centric, value creation and operational mindset, propensity for action and ability to work in a matrixed environment.Outstanding strategic plan development, writing, messaging, editing and measurement skills.Experience working with creative partners on content including graphics, videos, and event materials.Proven ability to effectively partner cross-functionally in a complex organization.High level of independence and skill in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities and discretion working with sensitive information.Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to thrive in an extremely fast-paced and changing environment.Strong skills in Microsoft Suite: Word, Teams, SharePoint file-sharing, PowerPoint, and occasional Excel.This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, corporate functions communications.Hybrid role requires approximately 8 days monthly travel to Newark, NJ. This travel is considered commuting and therefore is non-reimbursable. Prudential also reserves the right to adapt these expectations based on business needs and the changing requirements of the role.

What we offer you:Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $152,500.00 to $206,200.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.Market competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
