Director, Continuous Improvement

Essential Job Functions

Work in a highly visible role, interacting with individuals at all organizational levels when identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives. Champion the continued development of employees through training and coaching. Profitability evaluation and cost mitigation solutions for Hub’s top customers including leading a weekly review of underperforming business Evaluate the impact of volume variances within the network and develop action plans for improvement On-time performance tracking of top accounts along with oversight of the Risk Escalation Process Develop and present solutions to customers that support continuous improvement objectives. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in the transportation industry, including 2-3 years of managing a team Bachelor of Science in logistics, transportation, operations management, operations research, or economics is required Understand strategic network design principles and fleet optimization techniques Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills Possess a high-level of competency and demonstrable skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as flexibility to adapt to change while working in a team environment. Possess high level of competency and demonstrable skills in Microsoft Excel, and all Microsoft office products
