Job Summary
The Director, Corporate Local Store Marketing is responsible to lead a team that will oversee the Brand efforts, marketing activation and sales ambition for the corporate owned portfolio. This role is responsible to drive brand consideration and sales by leveraging both national and local strategies, promotions, and plans. The role is responsible for building the Look of Success for each promotion, inclusive of all market-level and Local Store Marketing plans and local offers. This role is responsible for measuring the marketing impact for these efforts, and the impact on revenue & margin targets as part of PJI’s business strategy. The role assists in implementation of the opening of all new or remodeled Corporate Stores, working with agencies and operators to drive brand engagement.
This role is responsible for developing differentiated and consumer-focused marketing strategies that improve the brand’s perception and maximize long-term sales growth. The role oversees the end-to-end activation for the corporate restaurants including marketing, pricing and promotions. The role reports into Marketing under Field Activation and has a dotted line into the Corporate Operations leadership team.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
Manage a team that will develop and lead focused sales and marketing strategy in all corporate operated markets to ensure healthy brand growth and top-line sales. Oversee and develop corporate annual plan and oversee activations to ensure that marketing strategies and sales ambition are achieved.Identify the impact that each marketing program has on corporate new restaurant and comparable restaurant sales and profitability. Apply key learnings to adapt to the changing competitive environment and consumer need states. Collaborate with Marketing & Digital leadership team to extend Papa Johns marketing approach fully integrated into corporate restaurants as the Brand standard for the system in a scalable manner for franchise restaurants to deploy. Bring visibility to opportunities to advance the organization’s strategic plan, as well as potential roadblocks to adoptionExtend and amplify national promotions, pricing and calendar decisions to effectively drives brand consideration at a local market level. Facilitate development of scalable local sales plans.Builds effective working relationships with cross functional partners and key operators to drive engagement and support of brand strategiesHold agencies and internal teams accountable for compliance and delivery of the strategic plan at a store levelEverybody loves pizza, which means they also love the people who are behind the scenes working to deliver it.
