We are a leading rare disease marketing agency specializing in healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing and training. Our digital department builds websites, banner ads, emails, digital marketing campaigns, e-learning modules (using Storyline), and handles a wide array of client digital engagement needs. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Creative Technology to lead our digital team, driving Purplemoon digital strategy, innovation, and execution for our diverse client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:Collaborate with the leadership team on digital department updates and strategic planning.Develop new and innovative digital marketing products and learning strategies for PurplemoonCollaborate with leadership to innovate and identify emerging technologies or solutions tailored to healthcare and pharma marketing needs.Client & Team Collaboration:Serve as the primary digital expert, interfacing with clients to provide strategic guidance and address technical questions.Oversee and manage internal and remote development teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.Work closely with account teams and clients to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.Execution & Oversight:Manage the development and deployment of digital assets, including websites, marketing campaigns, and e-learning modules.Oversee digital marketing omnichannel efforts, including Google Ads campaigns, Veeva-approved assets, and IQVIA tools.Required Qualifications
10-15 years with Master's education (MBA or Master's in technical space) along with a Bachelor's degree (ideally in CS or a relevant field for digital marketing)Experience should also ideally be in pharmaceutical marketing agencies5 of those years should be in management.Senior-level experience in digital marketing, learning, and technology leadership roles, ideally within healthcare or pharma marketing.Proficiency with Google Ads, Veeva, IQVIA, and other technical platforms commonly used in a digital marketing agency.Strong understanding of general programming concepts and web development.Proven track record of strategic oversight and successfully managing internal and remote teams.Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects across clients and functions.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in rare disease marketing.Knowledge of programming languages a plus.Ability to look at a product build and confirm the approach.Work Environment

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $128,800.00 - $239,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
