Location New York City (hybrid) Position Summary The ANA Marketing Training & Development Center is looking for an experienced Director of Curriculum Design to spearhead curriculum development for our live (synchronous) training programs. Previous experience designing and delivering synchronous training for trade associations, universities, or in-house for a brand is required. Candidate must be organized, exhibit strong stakeholder communication skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks accurately and to schedule. This individual must have initiative and a proven work ethic along with the ability to prioritize workflows and efficiently manage their time. The Director, Curriculum Design will inherit a robust training catalog of 150+ programs, which we are constantly evolving and expanding to support our members in meeting the high-demand challenges of delivering growth in a fast-paced industry. She/He will report into the SVP, Marketing Capabilities & Curriculum Design and will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the unit to achieve results. As such, Candidate will understand the importance of relationship building to achieve mutual goals, and be able to demonstrate a proven track record of collaboration and leadership. The Director, Curriculum Design will be responsible for ensuring all curriculum projects for the unit are implemented on-time and according to best practice, on-boarding new faculty to ANA ways of working, working with SVP to implement content strategy and lead content QA efforts across the board. MS Office Suite skills are required. Primary Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day core responsibilities for unit success: + Project manage all curriculum deliverables for the unit + Develop and design new live, synchronous training programs including but not limited to: half-, full-, and multi-day programs and advanced practitioner content. + Possess a fluid understanding of all content QA efforts, interventions, and progress, and provide regular status reports to SVP + Support SVP in mapping overall business goals & objectives to defined unit deliverables. + Support SVP in (and eventually own) identifying, recruiting, and on-boarding new faculty + Support B2B (member relationship) & content activation teams by fostering a continuous feedback loop that informs Curriculum priorities + Provide regular status updates to SVP on all aspects of unit oversight + Act as the go-to resource for B2B (member relationship) and content activation teams’ questions and information needs + Identify and swiftly address any areas of content or faculty performance concerns. + Supervise content staff. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in Professional Education or higher-level curriculum design + At least 4+ years’ experience in a leadership role and/or key stakeholder engagement capacity.  Knowledge of marketing industry a plus.   + Extremely strong project management experience and proven ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines + Strong Excel capacity, with a proven ability to present high-level ideas through Power Point + Strong written and verbal communication skills along with a customer service-oriented attitude + Strong analytical skills and knowledge of curriculum design best practice to develop and implement improvements and recommendations + Proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior executives and staff at all levels, as well as mentor and lead junior team members + Self-starter with advanced organization skills and strong attention to detail + Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities + Ability to exercise sound judgment on when to take the initiative and when to seek help + Taking pride in the successful completion of a project + Positive and collaborative attitude + Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other virtual platforms + Experience in not-for-profit environments is advantageous . Salary and Total Rewards Package Starting pay range:  $85,000 to $95,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
