We hope you will join us as we continue to learn, evolve, and shape what comes next on our mission to make better food accessible to everyone. **THE OPPORTUNITY** The Director of Customer Intelligence will build a world class, top performing analytics team and will work closely with Strategy, Operations, Technology, HR, Finance, and Marketing to share analytic insights and make recommendations on individual and company-wide strategic initiatives. This leader will guide the application of data science and machine learning methods, have an eye and passion for data quality, and the ability to connect analytics to business impact. It’s not just about addressing business problems; instead, the leader will help identify the right problems that have the most value to the organization with a passion for research, experimentation, measurement, and learning. **WHAT YOU’LL DO** + Develop and evangelize customer lifetime value tied to total revenue. Shape the Customer Intelligence strategy and communicatea clear vision, strategy, and roadmap to all stakeholders. This includes CRM (Customer Relationship Management), Loyalty & Rewards & Personalization Management and our Digital channel analytics. + Create overall thinking and approach to customer segmentation and size of prize with an emphasis on driving incremental transactions. + Build brand level customer journeys that allow for a single view of customer set across marketing plans and strategies (Penetration / frequency / Retention / and / or Acquisition). + Attain alignment across stakeholders and share approach broadly within the organization. + Build customer level business goals which are tied to our annual business forecast. + Manage CDP (Consumer data platform) priorities and project scope. + Devise measurement approach that marries customer level response to business results to system, product and store level business results. + Develop new processes and ways of working to enable Customer Intelligence across the organization. Transform capability and work focused on customer view: business insights, digital experience, loyalty & rewards. + Interface with industry to bring best practices, opportunities & approaches to Chipotle to enable industry leading approaches. + Advise the leadership team on analytics value opportunities on an ongoing basis and translate business problems into specific analytics and technology enabled solutions. + Inform and help develop predictive models, machine learning and AI techniques to improve key processes across out business. + Act as the chief advocate and evangelist of data-based decision making in the top leadership team. + Lead the transformation of the company towards an analytically enabled organization bringing best practice insights and solutions from across the enterprise. + Deliver and lead the company through high-quality data-driven business analytics, empirically derived analytic models, and strategies that address business issues and provide key insights leading to drive impact and ROI. + Collaborate with technology teams on evolution of analytics technology stack. + Directly lead a specialized team of data scientists and analysts. Develop the members of the analytics team ensuring they have the necessary skills, capabilities, and experiences to deliver industry-leading analytics and insights. + Codify and sharing knowledge created within the analytics organization to further enhance enterprise analytics capabilities. + Champion and raise the bar across the organization in terms of analytical rigor while also bringing in new approaches and techniques. **WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE** + Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or any related mathematical field is preferred. + Advanced Degree (Masters or PhD) in related mathematical field preferred. + 8+ years’ progressive experience in analytics/ data science desired. + 3-5 years’ supervisory experience preferred. + Any certification in field of data science and analyticspreferred. + Proficiency with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages such as SAS, R, Python, Alteryx, SQL. + Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook. + Experience building statistical models, hypothesis testing and using machine learning techniques. **PAY TRANSPARENCY** A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $175,000.00–$254,500.00. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
