We are seeking a Director of Data Engineering to lead the development of innovative data platforms and solutions that power our business transformation and create a lasting impact. In this role, you will lead the design and engineering of scalable, high-performing data platforms that transform complex data into actionable insights. From crafting robust data ingestion pipelines to architecting advanced data solutions, you will lead a talented team of global engineers to solve challenging problems at scale. How You'll Make an Impact Drive the implementation and development of the enterprise data platform, data management, and analytics initiatives. Establish operational excellence with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerts, quality checks, reusability, and scalability for international teams. Lead initiatives to optimize and modernize legacy systems while minimizing disruption to business operations. Continuously research and integrate emerging technologies to improve system performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant work experience; or 14+ years of equivalent work experience. Experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics, with a strong background in designing enterprise-scale data platforms, pipelines, and architecture. Proficiency in cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred) and data warehousing, ETL, and data integration technologies. Hands-on experience with modern data technologies and frameworks, such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar. Who is HanesBrands?
