What You'll Contribute
The Director, Demand Analytics will be responsible for overseeing the development and monitoring of Private Student Loan Originations Plan and what if scenario planning with a goal to support optimization of business performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of data analysts, developing and implementing analytics strategies, and working closely with cross functional teams to identify business needs, and provide actionable insights.
What You'll Do
Develop and monitor Private Student Loan Originations Plan.Analyze complex data sets and create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders.Collaborate with the executive team and various departments to identify opportunities for optimization and increase efficiency.Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure data quality and accuracy.Lead a team of analysts, providing mentorship and guidance to help them grow professionally.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in analytics and apply them to our business as appropriate.Communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.The above information is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job; it is not designed to contain or be interpreted as a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications required of employees in this role.
What you have
Minimum: Indicate minimum education, skills and experience required.
Proven leadership experience, including managing a team of data analysts.Demonstrated ability to develop and implement analytics strategies that drive business growth and profitability.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data privacy best practices.Working knowledge of BI tools (eg. Power BI, Tableau), SQL and statistical tools (eg. SAS).Strong business acumen and ability to understand business needs and requirements.Advanced degree in a related field preferred.Preferred: Indicate “nice to haves” regarding education, skills, and experience.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field.The Americans with Disabilities Act
