Digital health (DH) is one of the strategic priorities for AZ and for AZ R&D China organization.  Formation of Evinova brings AZ Digital Health ambition to another level.  We aim to build a best-in-class DH team in China. With that, R&D China is establishing a new China DH team, to drive the development, validation, and implementation of the science-based, evidence-led, human-experience driven health solutions to enable transformation of patient centric clinical development (including patient identification, patient experience and outcome improvement, patient care journey optimization etc) through convergence of science, AI, and technology, to connect both internally and externally, and to establish AZ leadership on digital health in China. 

In this role, he/she will be responsible to lead and guide a team, working with internal and external experts, to deliver DH priorities across TA areas (onco, respiratory, CVRM etc)

Major responsibilities

Be an agile and transformative leaderUnderstand organization strategic goals and TA strategy priorities, working with TA heads and/or China disease and compound clinical leads and TA strategy leadsProvide oversight and leadership for DH solution leads in translating org and TA strategy into DH opportunities and prioritiesAccountable for effective and efficient communications with key stake holders and collaborators on why/how/what for DH priorities identifiedGuide and support DH leads to deliver DH priorities working with study team and/or project teams, including risk identification and mitigation and issue managementGuide and support DH leads and team in the collaborations with external technology providers and partnersAccountable for effective business processes and quality assurance proceduresSupport establishment of AZ DH leadership in ChinaCreate a stimulating, inspiring and rewarding culture in project teams.  Develop and coach growth for junior colleagues.Drive change management to achieve goals

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Advanced degree in science related majors, Ph.D preferredSeasoned drug developer with track records as a scientific leader in clinical development, digital health or medical device related areasStrong strategic thinking & excellent learning agilityExcellent communication skills and relationship building skills in cross-functional settings with proven track recordsStrong relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve aligned objectives in cross-functional settings with proven track records.Effective problem and conflict resolution skills and proven team focus.
