Job Description

experiences for our customers. This role is responsible for creating a customer centric strategy
aimed to develop a sustainable partnership model that empowers patients and healthcare providers
to consistently work with us to improve clinical trial awareness and attract underserved, diverse
populations of investigative sites and patients as well as enhance the patient and investigator trial
experience.
+ This role is accountable for creating a vision and customer centric strategy that creates a collaborative internal work environment to connect patients and clinical sites with our study teams as well as elevate AbbVie’s external identity as a preferred partner committed to collaboration to accelerate medicines to our patients
+ Develop and implement an internal and external communication plan that raises our profile and differentiates AbbVie as an innovator who demonstrates impactful changes to clinical development through collaboration with our customers
+ Develop strategic direction to an adaptive approach to optimizing trial awareness that facilitates patient decision-making
+ Drive the implementation of the clinical trial diversity and inclusion strategy aimed to attract underserved, diverse populations of investigator sites and patients in our clinical trials.
+ Drive proactive communication and transparency to advance AbbVie’s EED&I efforts in our clinical research, both internally and externally.
+ Drive alignment between the EED&I program and AbbVie’s business strategy. Continue to refine our clinical trial diversity and inclusion strategies based on analytics and ensuring every team has access to regional indication demographics, including AbbVie resources to help resolve previously identified diversity gaps.
+ Effectively lead the team to develop industry-leading patient engagement capabilities and leverage cutting-edge resources to enable seamless integration of the patient and site perspective into clinical trial planning.
+ Establish benchmarking within and outside AbbVie to determine industry leading patient-centered and clinical trial diversity solutions in support of AbbVie’s program.
+ Identify and work cross-functionally to drive process improvements aligned to reinforce patient centricity and proactive management of diversity and inclusion in clinical trial operations.
+ Actively participate in external forums focused on patient centricity and clinical trial diversity, to represent AbbVie in this space, but also to gather best practices to further enhance AbbVie’s strategy.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field required, Advanced degree is desirable.
+ Minimum of 12 years + of pharma-related/clinical research experience or equivalent
+ 10 years+ of patient recruitment, project management and people management (preferred)
+ Advanced working knowledge of ICH and GCP guidelines required.
+ Operational understanding of the global regulatory environment is desirable.
+ Excellent collaborator and articulate communicator – easily build relationships across geographic locations and gains cross functional alignment.
+ Ability to communicate persuasively with clarity, flexibility, and adaptability to changing requirements, resourcefulness, and creativity
+ Strategic thinker with excellent business and financial aptitude, very analytical and uses data to drive the business and continuous improvements.
*Preference is for role to be office based at an AbbVie location, but may be potential for the role to be remote.

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $172,000 - $326,500
