This role will drive enterprise-level AI/ML strategies, ensuring alignment with business outcomes, enterprise goals, and architectural principles. The AI/ML Enterprise Architect will work across multidisciplinary teams and directly influence the organization’s ability to leverage AI/ML for innovation and transformation. Role Overview: Collaborates across business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and technical teams to orchestrate AI/ML strategies that align enterprise technology investments with business goals. Enables the organization to become AI/ML-driven by embedding AI/ML capabilities as part of the enterprise architecture framework. Drives the creation and maintenance of enterprise-level AI/ML reference architectures, ensuring scalability, reusability, and standardization across the organization. Provides strategic guidance on AI/ML platform selection, ensuring technologies align with enterprise strategies to enable sustainable innovation. Partners with senior leaders to align AI/ML strategies with overarching business priorities, translating technical concepts into business value. Key Responsibilities: Strategy and Collaboration Develop and implement the company’s AI/ML vision and roadmap, working with stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI/ML can drive business outcomes. Collaborate with business architects to define success metrics for AI/ML initiatives, ensuring outcomes are measurable and tied to enterprise objectives. Orchestrate contributions from multidisciplinary teams, including business stakeholders, data scientists, enterprise architects, and external vendors. Enterprise Data and AI Integration Integrate AI/ML solutions into the broader enterprise architecture, ensuring that technology investments align with company-wide strategies. Collaborate with data architects to define and implement an enterprise data strategy that supports AI/ML initiatives. Maintain the AI/ML knowledge repository, ensuring consistency and reuse of architecture assets. Technology Assessment and Governance Evaluate and recommend AI/ML platforms, tools, and technologies for enterprise use, ensuring they meet scalability, reliability, and compliance requirements. Establish and maintain AI/ML governance frameworks, including role definitions, architectural principles, and standards to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives. Monitor emerging AI/ML technologies and assess their potential to drive business innovation. Leadership and Influence Act as a thought leader to evangelize AI/ML adoption across business units. Partner with senior leadership to translate AI/ML opportunities into actionable business strategies and measurable ROI. Build and mentor an internal AI/ML architecture community, driving professional development and knowledge-sharing among team members. Why You? Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-level AI/ML strategies. Experience aligning AI/ML initiatives with business objectives. Knowledge of core AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF). Experience in enterprise data management and its application in AI/ML initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including business, data, and IT professionals. Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations (e.g., GxP, GDPR, Sarbanes-Oxley). Exceptional communication skills to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives. Demonstrated ability to evaluate AI/ML technologies and assess their fit within an enterprise ecosystem.
