Job Details

General Summary:

Provides highest level of expertise for the development and architectural design and enhancements to the enterprise, specification and communication of the company’s technology architecture plan, the infrastructure components required to support it, and in the integration of corporate and business area architectures. Leads multiple projects for the area.  Develops innovative and effective solutions for the most diverse and most complex business problems.

 

Dutities & Responsibilities:

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluating, and recommending solutions that optimize business processes.Leads design sessions for strategic projects with solutions architects.Consults on multiple/all strategic projects within development/deployment phases.Leads designs for integration for interdependencies of current existing applications and new applications.Establish and enforce IT standards and guidelines to promote consistency and efficiency across the organization.Develop and maintain architecture models and documentation, clearly communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Provides in-depth technical consultation to clients and IT management to ensure development of efficient application systems utilizing established standards, procedures, and methodologies.  Define the enterprise architecture, encompassing business processes, applications, data, and technology components Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

A senior level knowledge of the system development life cycle, and system and application program development technological alternatives and architecture methodologies for multi-platform environments.Must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of systems architecture design using state of the art for rules based architecture, object oriented component analysis and development.  Proven experience in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.Excellent communication and interpersonal and consultative skills to work effectively with vendors, clients, peers, and IT management and staff.Strong understanding of various architectural domains including application, data, infrastructureExtensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms like (AWS, GCP, or Azure) preferably GCPAbility to resolve complex developmental and infrastructure problems by applying best practices and industry standards and methodologies

Work Experience &/or Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience requiredMinimum of 10 years of diverse work experience in Information Technology, including experience with systems architecture methodologiesPrevious architecture leadership experience required Need help finding the right job?
