Director, Enterprise Strategic Initiatives **Overall Job Summary** This position is responsible for oversight of the budgeting, planning, and execution of multiple cross-functional programs that are inter-related. The position ensures that cross-functional work efforts, dependencies, and program/project objectives are achieved on time and within budget while managing change across the enterprise. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)** + Direct and lead the delivery of highly complex program, which includes leadership of multiple dependent projects across multiple functional areas including Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Real Estate, Construction and more. + Manage the capital and operational expense spend for each program, ensuring budgets are adhered to and appropriate controls are in place. Overall spend for programs in this area will exceed $100M annually. + Manage the development and implementation of key metrics to track progress and validate business outcomes for all programs. This includes performance indicators, progress metrics, and budget. + Identify, track and manage program level risks and issues. Serve as escalation point to resolve program issues, remove roadblocks, formulate contingency plans and communicate status to programs executive leadership team. Ensure the sequencing of projects is appropriate at the program level. + Function as central point of program communication and status for program team members, stakeholders, management and executives. + Responsible for all program oversight, including planning, directing, and managing cross-functional team members. + Lead meetings with executive business partners to understand business goals and solutions needs, including participation in business requirements definition. + Develop program-level vision, strategy, approach, and implementation plans required to achieve necessary business outcomes. + Responsible for developing detailed project charters and plans, specifying goals, objectives, strategy, scope, budget, scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, work breakdown structures, use case, and training needs, as necessary for all project assignments. + Accountable for adherence to established delivery standards and industry best practices to ensure successful project delivery leads to the overall program goals being achieved. **Required Qualifications** **Experience:** + 5+ years in a director level role. + 6-8 years project/program management experience across multiple business projects is required. + Experience with technology and tech related projects. + Experience in a retail environment or other distributed location model preferred. + Experience with retail logistics and distribution centers preferred. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree preferred. Master’s degree preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered. **Professional Certifications:** Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Six Sigma and Lean certifications preferred. **Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities** + Construction & real estate project experience or exposure + Change Management + Strong experience and understanding of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile SCRUM, Waterfall, etc.).
