Description
Citizens JMP Traders handle equity order flow from institutional clients utilizing the latest technology to meet client needs. This position works directly on the trading desk, supporting current clients and developing new business with responsibility for sales, trading and account management.
The candidate will be responsible for receiving and executing equity orders. They may receive orders via the phone, email or a dedicated FIX session. The candidate must stay up to date on current market trends and communicate intelligently and professionally with clients. The candidate will be responsible for determining which strategy best fits the clients trading style and needs.
Primary responsibilities include
Handle trading activity from assigned client baseSupport full client base as neededDirectly and indirectly participate in Sales effortsManage client relationships with an eye towards maintaining and growing revenueAssist with Operational functions as neededQualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of financial marketsAbility to understand complex market structures and electronic tradingAbility to perform in a dynamic trading environmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent communication and organizational skillsBachelor’s degree in finance or related field, or equivalent experience.7+ years’ experience in equity tradingSeries 7, 63 and 55 licenses (or equivalent) requiredHours & Work Schedule

The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
