This position is responsible for directing the activities of the Global Facilities and Real Estate department which includes Facilities, Office Services, Travel, Real Estate, Fleet, Global Security, Business Resilience, and Facility Security Officer operations. This position is responsible for managing a domestic and international team in the completion of these activities and is directly responsible for certain real estate activities.
What You Will Do
Ensures that company office buildings are maintained in a quality manner to provide a conducive working environment for our employees. Manages team in interactions between company and property owner/management entity; directs and assists local company employees in this effort. Serves as a resource for global facilities to provide consistency and appropriateness of lease facilities. Oversees and manages the leasing of all space globally for company operations. This includes the maintenance of a central repository for real estate agreements and financial commitments, lease management, construction management, furniture procurement, and budgeting for real estate projects. Works with leadership at locations and other departments in the completion of real estate projects. Oversees process of selecting and managing real estate brokers and lease negotiations. Oversees and manages the team providing facility and office services at the headquarters location. Oversees and manages global security which includes local access control, global security initiatives, threat analysis and reporting, travel advisories, business resilience, and similar security-related activities. Oversees and manages the Facility Security Officer responsibilities at the headquarters location in accordance with the requirements of federal contracts. Oversees and manages global travel services provided through managed travel services provider. Ensures travel provider completes reservations in compliance with travel policy and redirects exceptions for approval. Oversees management of vendor relationships with air, hotel, and car rental agencies to maximize savings. Responsible for creating, implementing and managing a Travel Risk Management Program. Oversees and approves negotiations and/or negotiates directly with outside vendors for building-related services, such as: Building maintenance and repairs. Construction services. Office equipment leases and/or purchases, and maintenance. Office supplies and furnishings. Mail room and courier services. Vehicle fleet leases, vehicle maintenance, etc. Establishes annual operating budget projections and management. Identifies opportunities for cost reduction, containment or avoidance. Responsible for submission of monthly reports on operating results and forecasts to Finance Department. Establishes annual capital budgets for global office locations working with local leadership and in accordance with lease expiration schedules. Oversees management of the corporate fleet in US and Canada and information on global fleet inventory. Oversees development of relationships with manufacturers and enters into incentive programs to reduce the capital costs of the fleet. Reviews leased vehicle selections annually and adjusts as necessary in response to changes in market, vehicles, and driver needs.What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required Minimum 10 years of experience with both domestic and international locations preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Previous facility management and real estate negotiation/transaction experience required. Excellent organizational, communications and computer skills. Proficient in managing multiple tasks, flexible in accepting additional responsibilities, and adept in exercising discretion, delegating responsibilities and setting priorities. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization in a professional and effective manner. Detail oriented with ability to conceptualize the overall situation and objective at same time. Supervisory skills to organize plan and direct the work of others. Proven business and financial acumen. Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.
