Role Title: Director, Field Enablement

Location: UK, US

Reports To:  VP Commercial Enablement

Department:  Commercial

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Field Enablement Leader to oversee our regional enablement managers and drive the successful implementation of key sales enablement initiatives across various regions and markets. This role does not have direct sales ownership but plays a critical part in driving global enablement programmes into the field, supporting sales execution, delivering regionally targeted enablement programs, and serving as the voice of the field to global enablement teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset and a proven track record in sales enablement within a global setting.

Principle Accountabilities:

Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional enablement managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Global Sales Enablement: Collaborate with global enablement capability teams to align regional enablement strategies with global objectives. Identify and prioritize key enablement needs specific to each region and market. Develop and execute enablement programs that drive sales effectiveness and productivity.Regional Sales Enablement Execution Support: Work closely with regional sales leaders to understand field needs and challenges and eEnsure that enablement programs are tailored to support the sales teams in achieving their targets.Program Delivery: Oversee the delivery of targeted enablement programs, including training, workshops, and tools ensuring consistency and quality of enablement content and delivery across all regions.Voice of the Field: Act as the primary liaison between regional sales teams and global enablement. Gather feedback from the field to inform and improve global enablement strategies and programs.Coaching: Provides coaching support to sales management and executive management to drive adoption and land enablement, central initiatives, engagement or events.  

Essential Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Significant experience in sales enablement spanning content, learning, coaching, engagement and demand generation. Prior experience in being a field-based sales enablement leader working day-to-day with sales and commercial teams to drive enablement executionGood understanding of AVEVA products, industries and use cases is highly desired to be able to effectively enable the field. Background in sales is also a plus.Previous development of effective change management and communication strategies for large scale initiatives or programs with measurable outcomesExcellent communication, relationship, facilitation and motivational skills. Related industry qualification is preferred in the change management competenceDetail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologiesDemonstrated ability to take ownership and manage projects from start to finish building in benchmarks and status updates
