Director, Finance

Position Summary:

The Finance Head Evidence Solutions will serve as a financial liaison to support and inform executive management across Precision AQ Evidence Solutions (Health Economic and Outcome Research and Market Access and Global Pricing Consulting) business to support strategic decision making while maintaining accurate financial accounting. This role will own financial reporting and compliance with GAAP for multiple business units.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

Partner with the President of the Business Unit to support the business and to provide financial transparency of the monthly results Partner with the Client Accounting team to review project profitability and health and operational delivery of projects Partner with the Client Accounting team to support collections as required Partner with internal FP&A team in creating and analyzing reports to support the Business Unit President and Sr. Leadership team Provide actual to budget/forecast variance explanations on a monthly basis to the Corporate FP&A team Work alongside the Business Unit President and Sr. Leadership team EVP to create and present monthly financial results to the Corporate CFO and Corporate President. This one I think is important to have in there because communication skills are a must in this role Finalize budgets and forecasts while partnering with the business and the Corporate FP&A team Identifying areas for process and system improvements Assist with strategic initiatives of the business as needed (system implementations, integrations, acquisitions etc.)

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum concentration accounting or finance

Other Required:

A minimum of 12+ years relevant experience

Preferred:

Pharma Services experience preferred

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, and an ability to build credibility with external and internal stakeholders Willingness to extend yourself and assist/mentor other more junior team members. Ability to function well in team-oriented environment Ability to function well in team-oriented environment Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong MS Office literacy e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel Good time management and organizational skills Proven critical thinking, analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills
