$155, 000 - $186,500 + 20% Bonus Target
Summary
The Director, FP&A is responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function at the corporate level, providing reporting and analysis to drive financial performance and support decision-making. This highly visible role oversees budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Essential Functions
Lead the FP&A budgeting and forecasting processes, developing comprehensive projection models that translate financial data into P&L and cash flow expectations.Oversee month-end reporting activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful reporting and variance analyses.Prepare and review presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors, effectively and accurately communicating financial information.Review and present financial reports and dashboards for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.Partner with Financial Systems to optimize the financial consolidation system and other tools, ensuring alignment with business needs.Partner with business units and corporate departments to gather information, validate assumptions, and provide financial support for strategic initiatives.Drive the development of system solutions and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.Lead or participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as required from senior leadership.Position Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate environment, or other finance/accounting roles; minimum of 3 years of managerial experience required.
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologiesExceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.Proven track record of driving process improvements and efficiencies in FP&A functions.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.Functional Success Drivers: These competencies are what we require for an individual to be successful in this role.
