Primary Responsibilities

The Director of Account Management- Fresh, is responsible for leading and developing a highly effective Commercial Sales team which includes an Account Management and Retail Sales Services team. The Director is responsible for all aspects of executing the day-to-day relationship with Kroger, which includes forging strong relationships, both vertically and horizontally, between KeHE Distributors and the Kroger's Leadership, Account Management, Merchandising and Supply Chain teams. The Director is accountable for developing, implementing and executing a sales strategy that fits within the Company’s objectives, mission, vision, and values.

Education & Experience:

4-year bachelor’s degree in business preferred. Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.Minimum 10 years of experience in food industry including supply chain or equivalent experience.Natural, speciality and/or fresh product knowledge with ability to recognize brands and trends, strongly preferred. Solid track record of sales success including strategy, planning, and impeccable follow up.Demonstrated ability with managing complex customer organizationsExcellent presentation skills including listening and asking impactful questions.Demonstrated ability to proactively recognize and pursue business opportunities.Excellent verbal and written communication with people at all organizational levels.Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% by air and stay overnight for business meetings and to attend trade shows, as needed.Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Strong project management and organizational skills.Must be results-oriented, self-directed, and have excellent time management skills.Strong interpersonal skills, Customer focused.Able to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong process improvement skills.
