Director, Global Downstream Marketing – Intracardiac Devices (ICE)

The Director of Global Downstream Marketing leads the global commercial product strategy for the ICE business within Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD)—responsible for branding/messaging, sales enablement/demand generation, commercial life cycle management, demand planning, and global market product focus/market expansion.

Your role:

Lead the commercialization plans and execution for the ICE business, partnering closely with North America sales teams, regional marketing teams, reimbursement, clinical, regulatory, customer education, supply chain, quality, legal, marketing communications, finance and strategy in managing the portfolio and prioritizing key initiatives to drive business growth.Lead the downstream team in creating annual marketing plan including marketing communications, congress, sales training, customer education, reimbursement, society engagement, sales incentives and pricing strategies.Cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to establish a trusted board of advisors across the applicable clinical domains. Gain KOL insights into ICE strategy, market trends, and unmet customer/clinical needs.Attract, develop, and retain a high-performing marketing team that is passionate about impacting patient care and committed to growing the business. Identify opportunities to improve competencies and actively develops them within the team.Collaborate and partner with other members of the Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD) management team in ensuring short-term and long-term business success. 

You're the right fit if:

You’ve acquired 10+ years of medical device/medical products marketing or strategy experience. Medical device sales experience or direct experience in structural heart are a plus.Your skills include:Experience leading multiple medical device product launches—global experience and an understanding of the different market conditions around the world preferred.Exceptional presence in front of customers, a powerful communicator, and have demonstrated an ability to instill confidence in and persuade diverse stakeholders.A strong history of developing a sound strategy, building it into a compelling message/pitch, and rallying cross-functional stakeholders into execution.Experience designing and executing market development activities with the goal of expanding patient access to care.You have a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing, business, biological/clinical science, or engineering; MBA is preferred.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. You have the ability to lead via influence, rally a team, establish and curate physician relationships, and create cross-functional followers in pursuit of a shared mission. You are a creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset. You have proven leadership capabilities, having lead multiple direct reports.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in San Diego, CA is 176,400 to $282,240.

The pay range for this position in Plymouth, MN is $165,375 to $264,600. 

The pay range for this position in Colorado Springs, CO is $157,500 to $252,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.    

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here. 

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to San Diego, CA, Plymouth, MN or Colorado Springs, CO.
