PCI Pharma Services is looking to hire a Global Inventory Planning and Strategy Director is responsible for leading the inventory planning, forecasting, and inventory strategy. They will develop and implement inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, and reporting. The Inventory Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned.
Inventory Planning and Control: Leads, develops, and implements inventory management policies, procedures, and strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costsInventory Forecasting: Analyze historical sales data and customer product trends to forecast future inventory needs and make informed decisions about inventory levels.Inventory Replenishment: Manage the replenishment process to ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels, and that stockouts and overstocking are minimized.Inventory Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze inventory levels and make adjustments as needed to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste by leveraging ABC-XYZ segmentation methodologies.Inventory Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to stakeholders on inventory levels, inventory turns, and other key performance indicators.Team Management: Lead and manage a team of inventory management professionals, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectivelyProcess Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction Systems SME: Strong understanding of inventory management software and systems, including ERP, APS. WMS, and TMS; and stays up to date with the latest technology and best practices in inventory management.Planning Governance: Act as Global Process Owner for inventory set up, standardization, and harmonization of planning processes and systems across Business Units, Sites, and ERP systems (Inventory to Delivery)Customer Fulfillment: Work with Sales and Business Development teams to identify appropriate customer owned inventory policies and stocking levels. Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.

Required:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years related experience and/or training.College Level Mathematical SkillsAdvanced Computer Skills: Ability to perform the most complex computer tasks and operate various computer programs. Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.Ability to travel up to _10_ % - 25_ %Preferred:
Certifications: APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) certification or similar is a plusProven track record of success in inventory management, with a focus on efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.#LI-JM1
