The Director Global Real Estate Transactions provides business support to various Danaher companies across its diverse portfolio in Biotechnology, Diagnostics, and Life Sciences.
Responsible for leading the strategic execution of real estate transactions across 51 countries worldwide. This position is part of Danaher’s Corporate team and will be remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Lead and manage real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and site selection, across North America.
+ Facilitate international real estate transactions by leveraging internal resources and external partners such as CBRE.
+ Develop and execute strategic real estate plans that align with Danaher’s business goals and operational requirements.
+ Negotiate and structure complex real estate transactions to optimize financial performance and mitigate risk.
+ Collaborate with internal business units, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
+ Work closely with the construction and facilities teams, dedicated CBRE account team, market brokers, C-Suite decision-makers, field operations, FP&A, and others throughout the lifecycle of the real estate transaction.
+ Effectively communicate expectations, requirements, and the status of transactions to key business partners - both internal and external.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Working knowledge of the industrial real estate market and economic factors impacting landlords and tenants, including supply/demand forces affecting industrial real estate.
+ Demonstrated skills in commercial lease negotiations with a proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and executing new commercial leases nationally.
+ Working knowledge on crafting LOIs, understanding lease clauses and their impact on the organization from a legal/risk perspective and a lease administration perspective.
+ Proficiency with real estate principles, legal terminology, and provisions in standard commercial leases, as well as working knowledge of real estate finance principles and methodology.
+ Experience taking opportunities from market research and planning through site selection and lease negotiations.

The salary range for this role is $250,000- $290,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
