Director, Growth Marketing
About the Role
Houzz is looking for a growth expert to increase traffic, deepen user engagement, and drive both acquisition and revenue from industry professionals. This individual will champion the value Houzz Pro provides to professionals, and will own the marketing and analytical infrastructure to guide key decisions across the organization.
You will own and optimize paid marketing and lifecycle marketing efforts to acquire and retain users. You will work with a global, cross functional team composed of data scientists, designers, copywriters, product managers, engineers, and PR. As an owner of two of our most important channels, you will also serve as a key thought partner and stakeholder for growth product and sales strategy.What You’ll DoBe the expert on our professionals and homeowners: who they are, what they look for, and how they look for itWork with cross-functional teams of creatives and analysts to drive optimizations across paid campaigns, lifecycle campaigns, landing pages, ad and copy creatives, and other channelsTest new advertising channels, features, and placements with the ability to define, measure and identify successful tests and scale these programsLeverage lifecycle to acquire, activate, engage, upsell, and resurrect users based on their individual needsCommunicate the effectiveness of campaigns to multiple stakeholders across the organizationLeverage our complex and cross functional teams to identify and drive overall growthBuild on our brand and incredible wealth of content to execute on marketing strategies Be an authority on personalization and customization; utilizing a deep understanding of our users’ needs and behaviorsAt a Minimum, We’d Like You to HaveMinimum 8+ years of growth/marketing experience, including managing a teamExtensive experience developing paid and lifecycle marketing programs; comfort with segmentation, automation strategies, and quantitative optimizationsExpertise in landing page optimization and personalizationA highly analytical and creative mind; develop a thesis, but adapt to resultsScrappy ability to get stuff done, roll up your sleeves, and tackle something hands-onStrong Excel and Powerpoint skillsIdeally, You’ll Also HaveExperience building and measuring growth product and sales strategiesDeep analytical expertise, including SQL proficiencyCompensation, Benefits and Perks
This role has an annual starting salary range of $175,000 - $215,000. In addition to salary, you’re eligible for competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Houzz. Also, depending on the role, you could be eligible for an equity award. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, and specific work location.
