About the Team

The GTM Planning Team is responsible for aligning efforts across GTM functions in developing on an integrated Go-To-Market Plan that drives business performance and customer satisfaction.

Reporting to VP of GTM Strategy & Planning, the Director of GTM Planning will lead integrated GTM business planning across GTM functions, in close partnership with Enterprise Planning team, finance, and x-functional strategy and planning teams! You will drive the planning process, provide business analyses, and develop integrated GTM business plans, initiatives, and prioritization with Global Customer Operations organization. You will bring the intellectual curiosity and ability to think about strategic choices and trade-offs; predicting and planning for the long-term implications to both our customers and internal collaborators!

About the Role

As a Director, GTM Planning, you will:

Responsibilities: Orchestrate annual planning within Global Customer Operations to develop integrated GTM plan, in close partnership with Enterprise PlanningProvide GTM perspectives in Workday long-range planning process and plan developmentPlay a meaningful role in designing planning process, prioritizing GTM planning meetings and discussionsCollaborate with cross-functional teams across GTM (Sales, Solution Consulting/Value Management/Industries, Partners, RevOps, Marketing, CX), Product, Corporate Strategy, Business Ops, Finance and beyond in plan design and executionConduct and present analyses to advise planning trade-offs and decision-makingDevelop GTM KRs and targets in partnership with Enterprise PlanningDrive x-functional efforts to ensure GTM execution and launch readinessOrchestrate regular cadence of meetings with the cross-functional teams to review performance against financial and operational metrics and progress on key initiativesDevelop communication to assist executive reviewsCapabilities:

The successful candidate is planning, and execution focused. In addition, the candidate can quickly build strong cross-functional relationships with product, sales teams, and functional stakeholders, drive GTM execution alignment among collaborators with diverse interests.

Direct experience in one or more GTM functions as leaderAble to analyze GTM data and trend effectively to support fact-based decision makingUnderstanding of cross-functional and interconnected nature of strategic and operational choices across the GTM value streamDemonstrating strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills, and experienced in communication at the executive levelStrong program management skills and execution focused, ability in multi-tasking in a fast- paced environmentBe a thought-leader and trusted advisor to the planning community, ability to engage and influence individuals across all levels in a matrixed organizationEnsure planning cycle is detailed implemented across corporate, product, GTM, and functional business partners

About You

Basic Qualifications:8-10 years of experience in planning, strategic planning, or management consulting8-10 years of proven experience across GTM, Sales, Customer Experience, Services, Marketing, Strategy, or similar functionsOther Qualifications:Strategic problem solver with excellent analytical and financial modeling skillsMBA preferredHighly motivated, self-starter, servant leader with a “can-do” demeanor, flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs and a keen eye for detailsStrong understanding of SaaS business models and the technology industry.Excellent leadership, executive presence, interpersonal, and organizational skillsExperienced in building executive communication and presentationStrong program management experience


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $234,200 USD - $351,400 USD


 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $197,800 USD - $351,400 USD
