Job Description

We’re looking for a Director, HR Portfolio to join Procore’s People Operations team. In this role, you’ll drive our people strategy and oversee the execution of key initiatives designed to unlock the potential of our people and support our company’s goals. This role blends strategic vision with tactical execution, ensuring the successful delivery of cross-functional HR programs and operational excellence.

This position reports to the VP, People Operations and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

Develop and execute a multi-year People strategy aligned with organizational goals and priorities in collaboration with the People leadership team.Lead the annual People org planning process, including budgets, programs, and alignment with financial objectives.Utilize KPIs and dashboards to measure progress, drive accountability, and inform decision-making.Create impactful executive presentations to convey insights, progress, and recommendations through compelling storytelling and visuals.Oversee a portfolio of cross-functional HR initiatives, applying project management principles to enhance alignment and execution.Facilitate project planning and execution for global, high-impact initiatives, ensuring milestones, risks, and deliverables are tracked and managed.Drive operational excellence by fostering collaboration, applying systems thinking, and ensuring People programs align with business outcomes.Serve as a trusted advisor to the People leadership team on strategy, operations, and project execution.

What we’re looking for:

10+ years of experience in HR leadership, management consulting focused on human capital, or a related field.Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, cross-functional projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.Proficiency in project management tools, methodologies, and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Kanban).Strong understanding of financial and budgetary concepts, including budget planning and resource allocation.Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify impactful opportunities and connect strategic dots.Advanced data analysis capabilities, with the ability to present insights effectively to executive audiences.Expert-level written and verbal communication, creating resonant and visually impactful executive-level materials.Strong influencing and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead across organizational levels and functions.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $180,600 - $248,325. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
