CAREER PROFILE

This role creates the long-term strategy and roadmap to innovate and maintain modern, cloud-based digital HR solutions for a growing, multi-national manufacturer ($10B+). The position directs the design, implementation, and adoption of HRIS platforms and support models that transform the employee experience, optimize HR processes, facilitate company growth, and ensure compliance.

 

THE SPECIFICS OF THIS PARTICULAR JOB

Leads a high-performing team of ten within the HR center of excellence. Manages strategic relationships with fifteen external technology and services partners. Through purposeful collaboration with functional HR and IT leadership, develops a rolling 3-year HR digital strategy and project roadmap in alignment with business and HR functional goals. Is externally connected, and regularly monitors trends to anticipate and prepare for emerging HR technology solutions. Facilitates effective choices, budget alignment, and resource-balancing in decision making. Leads or steers global projects in a collaborative, team-based environment. Well-versed in defining the business problem(s) to be solved and building clear requirements. Champions change management, training, and communications. Leverages governance, change control, and key KPI’s to manage and monitor performance and quality. Key execution role on M&A integrations, facility start-ups, and divestitures. Accountable for US/CAN payroll operations (outsourced). Consults with HR partners globally on payroll systems and operations strategies.

 

THE MUST HAVES

Bachelor’s degree, certificate or equivalent work experience (IT, business or analytics preferred) and 7+ years of leadership experience in the following:

Leading high-performing teams (leader of leaders preferred). HR cloud-based technologies and external technical partners (SAP/SuccessFactors preferred). HR business process expertise (HR specialist and/or generalist experience preferred). Leading change in growing, global companies, (manufacturing industry preferred). Human-centered design, EX strategy, storytelling, and analytics technology (Qualtrics preferred). Global project leadership (technology implementations preferred). Payroll operations (outsourced model preferred).
