Director, HRIS

Reporting to the Director of Rewards and HR Systems at gategroup North America, the Director of Digital Transformation will function as a key member of the HR leadership team by leading the development and management of human resources information systems to support the United States Division. The position will work with program leaders for compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and talent development, as well as the Global HR and HRIS teams to understand business objectives and identify and implement the corresponding HR systems and programs to meet the business strategies.

Annual Hiring Range:

$170,000 -$175,000 Per Year This position is eligible for incentive pay of 20% of the base salary.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Leads HR initiatives to optimize the capability of human resources systems and applications, including Workday HCM, Ultipro Payroll, Kronos Time and Attendance, and Taleo LMSDrives the regional implementation of global or local HR technology, including Workday Payroll, Workday’s LMS and other required solutions.Identifies appropriate technology solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the United States Division HR group.Develops the HRIS roadmap, aligned with the business strategy, and implements against the roadmap accordingly.Accountable for the HRIS teams service delivery model, and global tier one service delivery within the region.Develops process improvements via automation, workflow, and standardization.Partners with functional program managers, global HR, global HRIS, and global IT to identify, implement, and improve processes and procedures to ensure service levels in the creation and use of HR analytic materialOversees the HRIS SDLC in partnership with the functional program managers, global HR, global HRIS and global IT.Provides supervision/oversight to supervisory and technical staff charged with delivering the administration of HRMS systems and reporting.Identifies, implements, and improves processes and procedures to ensure service level agreements are met and further streamline the efficiency of service provided.Works closely with external vendors and service providers to ensure the efficient, accurate, and timely exchange of information.Generates and maintains system data audits and ensures the integrity of all company maintained and utilized data.Responsible for identifying, developing and providing regulatory reporting for payroll and HR activities, in partnership with the functional leaders.Responsible for effective vendor management including ensuring, establishing, communicating and adhering to policies and procedures.Oversee’s all RFP’s to support the implelementation of HRIS for the United States group.Full accountability for the development and execution of regional payroll policies, procedures and system.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university requiredMaster’s Degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration) preferred

Work Experience:

7-10 years HRIS / HR Tech program management3-5 years of experience in a leadership or management roleExperience with Workday, UltiPro, Kronos, and/or Taleo preferred

Language / Communication Skills:

Excellent management skills, including ability to manage projects and processes that cross organizational linesAbility to take initiative and be self-motivated with a strong knowledge of information technology best practicesExcellent spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skillsAbility to interact effectively with all levels and operation units of the companyExcellent oral and written communication skills; Strong analytical skillsAbility to communicate effectively with individuals possessing varying degrees of technical and functional knowledge

Travel %:  Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
