Job Summary:
The Director, HRMS is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions within the organization. This role ensures that Workday supports business objectives across HR, Finance, Payroll, and other functions while maintaining system integrity, security, and compliance. The director will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage Workday projects, and drive system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage team responsible for providing consultation and support including reporting, user training, researching and resolving technology problems and unexpected results or process flaws, performing scheduled activities, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Mentor, develop, and support team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Provide guidance and problem-solving support to help the team navigate challenges and achieve goals.
Identify and execute process improvements through Workday automation.
Promote Workday adoption, automation, and process synergy across Corporate Shared Service teams participating in regulatory reviews and audit activities.
Oversee system governance, ensuring Workday is configured, maintained and aligned.
Collaborate with stakeholders across HR, Finance, IT, Audit/Compliance and other departments to optimize functionality.
Provide guidance on system best practices, compliance and data integrity.
Lead HR technology-related projects and project work streams, including activities related to Mergers & Acquisitions, deployment of new Workday modules and other HR technology services, and changes/enhancements to existing system Set-up & Configuration.
Manage vendor relationships and Workday consultants as needed.
Ensure Workday compliance in relation to privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor system performance, access controls, and audit requirements.
Provide and model exceptional customer service for our internal clients.
Act as steward of HR and workforce data, ensuring the integrity and security of HR applications
Develop internal operating procedures and controls for key user-groups.
Manage SDLC Change Management policy and practices, including semi-annual Workday Release Management activities.
Manage semi-annual User Access Reviews of Workday and support applications.
Partner with internal and external audit groups to ensure adoption of and ongoing compliance with audit best practices, and General IT Control Framework.
Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications:
Strong leadership experience with cross-functional teams and the ability to build solid business relationships.
Extensive hands-on experience and/or certifications with Workday, including hands-on configuration and implementation of various modules such as HCM (Human Capital Management), Performance Management, Recruiting, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, and others.
Strong project management skills including leading system implementations, releases, upgrades, and post-go-live support. Experience managing complex, large-scale Workday projects from inception to completion, with the ability to handle budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Knowledge of integration tools and methodologies (including Workday Studio, Customer Central, EIB, Workday Report Writer, and Web Services) for connecting Workday to other systems.
Expertise in data migration, data management, and data security best practices.
Ability to analyze complex systems and workflows and identify areas for improvement.
Knowledge of best practices within HR, Payroll, Finance and IT.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain employee confidentiality at all times.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing Workday integrations with third-party systems
Experience working with global operations, namely India.

Salary:
The annual base salary range for this position is $132,000 to $198,000.
