As a member of the Outreach & Enrollment team, the Director, Independent Channels drives the recruitment, training, production, and compensation for brokers and Certified Referral Partners, as well as facilitates collaborative relationships with all functions, including operations, finance, compliance, marketing, clinical, talent, interdisciplinary teams (IDT), and external stakeholders, to promote WelbeHealth’s values, team culture, and mission.
Essential Job Duties:
· Partner with Marketing, Outreach, & Enrollment Directors to use brokers to fill gross and net caring capacity with an objective and clear top decile participant experience, staff experience, and financial/growth performance
· Recruit, develop, inspire, and invest in the successful careers of top-talent brokers and Certified Referral Partners
· Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders in Field Marketing Organizations, General Agents, community partnerships, senior housing, government/regulators, and other referral sources
· Direct and coordinate all intake and enrollment activities and processes, including identifying and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and conversion
· Partner closely with the WelbeHealth Launch team in successfully opening new sites
· Ensure WelbeHealth operates “beyond reproach” in compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations
· Share and guide replication of best practices across other programs
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (professional experience may be substituted); master’s degree preferred
· Minimum of seven (7) years of experience managing broker enrollment, sales, or business development leadership at a value-based provider, Medicare Advantage, or Medicaid program
· Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated aptitude mentoring and developing team members
· Healthcare experience required; Medicare, Medicaid, PACE or local market experience preferred
· Confident, capable, and detail oriented when it comes to process and digital “paperwork” in a regulated environment
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills in settings with seniors, their families, and interdisciplinary team members
· Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects
· Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule that may include evening nights and weekends; periodic travel for executive and team meetings will be required
· Willing and able to be onsite in WelbeHealth centers or community 50%+ of days
