General Overview

The NA Director of Information Technology (IT) Business Solutions is responsible for the overall management, strategy, and execution of EcoWater Systems’ IT solutions that support and enhance business operations. This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to ensure that IT solutions align with the organization’s business objectives and deliver measurable value.

This position oversees technology operations, information systems, and cyber-security across multiple facilities, constantly evaluating them according to established goals and driving toward continuous improvement. With a customer-service mindset and a goal-oriented project-based approach, the NA Director of IT will collaborate with business leaders across all functions to determine and fulfill technology and system needs.

This position is based out of the EcoWater System head office in Eagan, MN, or one of our plants in Iuka, MS or Ripley, MS, with responsibility for information systems, technology, and personnel across all three facilities. The expectation is to be on-site three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

This role supports all levels of the organization and works closely with the executive team to design and build solutions that empower stakeholders across the company to self-serve analytical and operational needs.

Overall ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and Solution Management:Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for IT business solutions that align with organizational goals.In partnership with business leaders, align IT capabilities to meet the needs of the organization through continuous evaluation and improvement of IT personnel, software, and hardware resulting in efficiencies and reduced overall organizational costs.Drive a customer-service mindset throughout the IT department, building a culture focused on supporting the business and enabling employees to work effectively, while also training and empowering end users to develop skills and knowledge in their applications.

Identify long-term needs for personnel and information systems, and plans strategy for developing systems and acquiring hardware to meet application needs.Recognize new developments in information system technology and anticipate organizational modifications.·Project Management:Direct and manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Contribute to the projects by completing items on the Task List.Utilize project management methodologies to track progress, mitigate risks, and address issues.Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.·Operational Excellence:Oversee IT operations, including but not limited to management of corporate business applications, end user desktop/laptop computers and software, network communications equipment, data communications equipment and services, corporate phone communications equipment and software, systems security processes and website compliance and connectivity including meeting or exceeding Marmon’s goals for Bitsight scoring.Establish and implement IT-related policies in coordination with Marmon, Marmon Water, and EcoWater Leadership. Comply with all Marmon IT Standard Practice Instructions (SPIs).Prepare and monitor departmental budgets and IT-related capital expenditure plans.Support and sustain the health of the organization. Develop and retain top talent. Develop and coach employees to achieve maximum potential. Sustain a growth-focused culture of innovation, high energy, and performance.Qualifications, Skills, CompetenciesBachelor’s Degree in IT-related field and stay up to date on the latest IT technology trends.10+ years of experience in IT-related role.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of IT/Management experience.Proven ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities.Experience planning, implementing, and upgrading systems and service integrations in a growth organization, including ERP, CRM, PowerBI, EDI and WMS, with Epicor experience as a plus.Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across all functions of the organization.Able to analyze business and IT trends and provide solutions.Results oriented: uses hard work and drive to accomplish quality outcomes.Financial acumen: understands budget management, negotiation, and able to explain through main point communication.Continuous improvement: bring about efficiency through department/organization.Ability to lead and manage projects through influence and collaboration.Working Conditions

Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours but will vary according to special projects, deadlines or other concerns. Occasional travel will be required.
