Director, Information Technology
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee the development and support of our Retail Point of Sale (POS) and Electronic Payment Systems (EPS), deployed across more than 8,000 store locations. In this critical role, you will drive our POS architecture and applications, working to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and new capabilities that enhance our in-store, online, and mobile customer experience.

As the driving force behind our payment processing systems, including authorizations, encryption, settlement, and gift card management, you will ensure seamless integration across multiple channels. You will collaborate closely with our Product team and maintain strong partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic, innovative solutions for payment enhancements, with a focus on evolving customer needs such as OTC card processing and omni-channel options like wallets and saved payments.

You will lead a diverse team of over 20 developers, architects, and analysts located globally, providing hands-on support for architecture design, code review, and testing processes. In this role, you’ll also be responsible for the POS hardware roadmap, ensuring that all hardware and peripherals—cash drawers, touch screens, scanners, and more—remain fully supported. Through agile methodologies, you will lead day-to-day operations, delivering fixes and enhancements that keep our systems running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:Develops and executes on IT product/service strategies and plans. Directs the operations of the assigned functional area to achieve strategic and operational business goals and targeted financial and content quality results. Establishes operational objectives for managers and/or teams of professionals in order to achieve the strategic and operational objectives of the group. Conducts technological
research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes.

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law.
