About the role:
Drive business growth for US Spirits by transforming complex data into actionable commercial insights that unlock sustainable market opportunities across national, regional, and local landscapes.
Role Responsibilities:
Establish an "Insight as a Service" framework that converts data, questions, and hypotheses into strategic growth opportunities supporting our evolved strategy of category and geographic focusCommercial Business Sequencing: Guarantee alignment of analytics/actionable insights sequencing with the commercial business's operational rhythmLead cross-functional analytics integration, synthesizing inputs from Category Development, Consumer Planning, and Advanced AnalyticsDevelop granular growth strategies using zip code-level demographic analysis and advanced data visualizationManage three Commercial Insights managers covering Whiskey, Tequila, and Foundation BrandsTransform retrospective analytics into predictive, forward-looking strategic guidanceKey Outputs
Develop analytical tools tracking local growth opportunities across multiple data sourcesCreate compelling, data-driven selling narratives for field sales organizationEstablish end-to-end hypothesis evaluation and communication processExperience / skills required:
Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial roles within the sales or marketing functions, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Demonstrated experience performing analysis using multiple data sourcesEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative fieldKnowledge of technical platforms and ability to code, or at least understand the process, a plus. Key applications include: PowerBI, Python, Databricks, Azure, Excel PowerQuery, DDH, Microstrategy, and various AI platformsDemonstrated Skills:Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, optimizing sales strategies through the use of analytics/insights in a commercial environment.Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Excellent commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, distributor behavior, and competitive landscape.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.Leadership and Dial Up Behaviors
