Overview of the Role
As the Director of Insights & Strategy, you will leverage your solid understanding of the consumer and category to develop Saputo Dairy Canada’s commercial strategy. You will promote a consumer centric mindset and utilize your accumulated insights knowledge to support key business decisions. In this role, you will lead the strategic planning process and work collaboratively with cross functional leads to develop, implement and track progress of multi-year plans.
Salary ranges from $120 415 to $158 050*** Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.****

How you will make contributions that matter:
· Manage Insights budget and develop plans to further strengthen consumer, shopper and category knowledge while ensuring a strong ROI on data investment
· Manage research suppliers and lead end-to-end research process
· Socialize Insights throughout the organization to elevate consumer and category knowledge and enable fact-based decision making
· Support Sales leads with customer presentations aimed at driving category growth through enhancing the shopper journey, optimizing assortment / placement at shelf and providing price & promo recommendations
· Ensure strong engagement with Insights & Strategy function and key customers
· Develop multi-year strategies for your assigned commercial groups, establish KPIs and track performance
· Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure engagement, alignment and execution of strategic plans
· Proactively assess external landscape and internal situation to adjust strategy accordingly
· Work with Innovation to highlight emerging trends and category white space opportunities
· Act as key liaison with Product and Revenue management leads and counterparts in global divisions
· Participate in the IBP process by highlighting category performance, evolving consumer trends and implications to the business
· Develop, lead and mentor direct reports to promote insights and analytics excellence
· Demonstrate strong leadership and model Saputo values consistently
· Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P.’s quality standards
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field
· 10+ years progressive category management, insights, strategy or related CPG experience
· Critical thinker, strategic mindset, results orientated
· Excellent business acumen and communication skills
· Strong organizations skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
· Excellent presentation skills with ability to influence across all levels of the organization both internally and externally
· Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
· Experience in leading market research and managing suppliers
· Strong knowledge of Nielsen Markettrack and retailer data systems (LDIA, Retail link, Circana)
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Outlook
· Solid understanding of Canadian Retail & Foodservice landscape
