Purpose of the position
This role is accountable for Hiab Digital Services IoT, Data and Cloud platforms (Hiab Digital platform) and capabilities to create sustainable competitive advantage for Hiab Digital Services and Hiab’s overall business. Director, Data, IoT and Cloud defines and implements the strategy around Hiab Digital platform development and ensures customer value creation by collaborating closely with various stakeholders: Product Management, Business
Development, CSCs, Customers, Equipment divisions, Hiab IM and suppliers.
The role manages the operations and continuous development of the Hiab Digital platform and capabilities around remote and predictive services, while continuously looking for opportunities to apply new innovations, capabilities and technologies to secure the delivery of long-term strategic ambitions and goals.

Services will be a key driver of Hiab’s long-term profitable growth by delivering high value-added solutions for customer’s current and future business needs
Accountable for the Customer value creation linked to the IoT and Cloud platform investments. Ensures Hiab’s Digital platform is shaped up to create competitive advantage and measurable customer value Defines and implements short and long term strategy, priorities and development roadmaps for the Digital platforms, aligned to reach Hiab Services strategic ambitions and business targets Leads the Digital platform agile development and operations teams and is responsible for IoT, Cloud and Edge services Leads the Data team and ensures continuous development of new data concepts, KPIs and predictive maintenance algorithms with measurable and scalable customer value creation Collaborates closely with Product Management and Business development to ensure Digital platform development and deliverables are fully aligned to Hiab's Digital portfolio and other business requirements. Develops capabilities and processes for Hiab remote and predictive services Makes decisions based on end-to-end business case scenarios. Sets and follows targets for the team based on business case evaluation & technical feasibility. Ensures all development themes are taken into consideration (architectural decisions, security, quality, scalability, performance) Owns the cost-optimisation roadmap and strategy related to Digital platform run, maintenance and development costs. Manages budget, cost and monthly follow-up as well as project deliverables Manages roll-outs and trainings related to Hiab Digital platform to the CSCs and other stakeholders Creates Ecosystem for agile developments including vendor steering and partnership negotiations Recruits, develops and retain talents.
Education:
M.Sc (Eng.) or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
Experience:
Working 10+ years with relevant digital transformation projects and IoT platforms Leading and engaging a cross-functional team Track record of driving business value through digital solutions and data Strong business acumen in an industrial environment Successfully working in a matrix organization IoT environments, Analytics and data management, cloud technologies (AWS, GCP), M2M connectivity, edge computing. IT systems and integrations, security and compliance. Enterprise and solution architecture
