Medical Stop Loss provides an added layer of insurance protection to employers who choose to self-fund their health benefit plans. Self-funding can incur risks from catastrophic claims, and Medical Stop Loss insurance from Tokio Marine HCC is designed to protect employers from that risk.This role in located onsite in Kennesaw, GA and is hybrid work schedulePosition Summary:Responsible for the effective operation of infrastructure services across all Tokio Marine HCC – Stop Loss Group (TMHCC). Manages the team responsible for architecture, design, implementation, administration and support of IT infrastructure services including data center, cloud, virtual desktops, remote access capabilities, configuration systems (e.g., SCCM), and other systems that support our businesses. It is both strategic and tactical in nature and requires the ability to identify, communicate, and balance steady execution of daily activities with longer term project implementation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement an IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.Provides strategic direction and oversight for the full life cycle of IT systems, working in close partnership with peers, and identifies where common approaches, solutions, and shared platforms provided by Infrastructure organization could drive efficiency.Manage the implementation and support of information systems for the Company’s computer operations.Proactive identification and remediation of potential problems.Team management for infrastructure teamEvaluate and recommend new or enhanced infrastructure solutions.Maintain a high service level in the daily performance of the Company’s operating systems; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with same.Resolve production incidents and manage changes to the environments.Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business key stakeholders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.Develop and implement departmental operating standards and procedures.Prepare activity and progress reports for management regarding information systems operations.Confer with and advise Infrastructure organization on policies and procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methods.Coordinates problems with appropriate technical, professional, and service personnel, along with users who reported the problem.May manage the processing of incoming service requests to ensure courteous and effective resolution of end user issues.Develops the maturity of Infrastructure organization to improve efficiency, deliver new innovations and increase collaboration with other IT and business areas (e.g., through Agile, DevOps, platform, and product approaches).Continuously evaluates the business value of the Infrastructure organization, including the use of metrics such as Key Performance Indicators, Outcome Driven Metrics and Service Level Agreements.Education, Experience & Knowledge:5 Years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting, and staffing8 Years of relevant and progressive experience in area of specialization, including cloud, network, data center, infrastructure applications and infrastructure operations.Required Azure certification(s) ITIL Foundation V4 certificationMinimum4 Year / Bachelors Degreein Computer Science, a related field, or the equivalent education and/or experiencePossess and have ability to apply advanced knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures, including Agile, DevOps, ITSM and product approachesExceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate an infrastructure vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the IT and business strategyEvangelizing and implementing transformational initiatives where the target state includes agile, DevOps, SRE, and cloud adoption .Deep understanding of current and emerging infrastructure technologies and practices, and how other enterprises are employing themPrior experience with Citrix, VMware, Cisco networking, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, data center management, disaster recovery, SCCM, Active Directory, backup solutions, SQL Server, ISA Server, Internet information Server, and ServiceNow are desired.Leading cloud adoption, including establishing governance mechanisms, delivering migration projects and modifying infrastructure target operating model.Sound working knowledge of monitoring technologies such as Dynatrace, Solarwinds Orion, Solarwinds DPA.Sound working knowledge of Internet/Intranet technologies including security featuresSound working knowledge of network infrastructure and operations, including switching, routing, Ethernet, TCP/IPExcellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacyTokio Marine offers a competitive salary and benefits package including:Generous paid time off (PTO), 12 paid company holidays,401(k) Retirement Plan with 6% company match.Health and dental insurance, vision plan available.Company provided long-term disability and life insurance.Opportunities for advancement in a successful and growing organization.Flexible work schedules and a great work/life balance.Paid Parental Leave.Volunteer Time Off.Enjoy casual dress and work in a modern, comfortable office with free parking.Hybrid work scheduleThe Tokio Marine HCC Group of Companies offers a competitive salary and employee benefit package.
