As the Director, Joint Ventures, you will have senior responsibility for leading CGI Federal’s portfolio of mentor protégé joint ventures.

This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office, and allows a hybrid working model. Candidates must be able to travel to the client site as needed.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Drive the sales cycle: Oversee business development and opportunity pursuits under the joint ventures; work directly with the various CGI business development teams and the small business protégé teams to identify opportunities for pursuit, deal qualification, bid strategy, and proposal preparation; proactively advocate for the inclusion of the joint venture in pursuits across CGI Federal by working with leaders from across the strategic business unit by exposing leaders to the capabilities and expertise of the various protégés.
• Lead large business mentorship: Manage the delivery of mentorship commitments to each protégé small business, either directly or in coordination with applicable subject matter experts.
• Lead governance for the joint ventures: Manage required reporting, contractual actions, and success metrics.
• Build the team - cultivate the relationships between CGI leaders and the protégé small business leaders.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in federal government contracting.
• Results-oriented business leader focused on growing the business.
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management, from ground-level project teams up to C-level executives.
• Proven track record of relationship building – partner/alliance experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels.
• Strong decision making, judgment, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional hybrid teams.
• Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $125,500.00 - $305,800.00.
