**Job Description**
_This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum 50% of the time on a regular cadence (10-12 days a month) with specific time and location expectations determined and communicated by management._
**Job Summary:**
This position involves leading the development and implementation of a new technology service model including internal managed technology services and Technical Account Management partners. The new service will be directed to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS), our independent wealth management division. The role includes assisting in creating and piloting cost models, managing both fully managed services and a Technical Account Manager (TAM) model, and overseeing a growing team. The director will collaborate with various RJ teams, shape the managed service program from the ground up, and engage with leadership to drive the program's success. Targeting strong background in IT service and support, along with experience in people management.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and implement technology controls around RJFS to offer managed technology services internally.
+ Create and pilot a cost model for managed services in branches
+ Manage and define responsibilities for Technical Account Managers (TAM) to interface between external MSP and RJ IT
+ Experience working with and managing Managed Service Providers and agreements
+ Oversee both fully managed services and the TAM model, managing at least 3+ direct reports.
+ Plan and execute the growth and expansion of the department, determining resource needs.
+ Mentor and enhance others’ skills. This includes evaluating talent, setting measurable objectives to foster growth, providing constructive feedback, handling challenging conversations, and managing performance for both high and low achievers.
+ Work closely with RJ teams in networking, infrastructure, TSC, and desktop support.
+ Join at the ground floor to shape the managed service program and drive its success.
+ Work with senior leadership to determine future state of managed services
+ Collaborate with business unit to understand needs, service model, and opportunities for growth
+ Be actively involved in budgetary discussions and financial planning for the department.
+ Lead the development and implementation of strategy for a significant area of responsibility, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider corporate strategy.

+ Take responsibility for setting and managing area budgets so they align with organizational strategy.
+ Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current and emerging business needs of a significant business area. Evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development activities. Motivate others to develop their capabilities and fulfill their personal potential. Build capabilities elsewhere in the organization through mentoring and other informal methods.
**Skills:**
+ Functional knowledge of enterprise systems, how they are used in the field, and relevant business practices
+ Knowledge of corporate structure and subsidiary business practices
+ Interpreting and applying policies and procedures
+ Preparing various reports, summaries, surveys, and written recommendations.
+ Project planning, reporting and coordination across organizational lines.
+ Preparing and delivering written and verbal presentations.
**Certifications:**
+ ITIL certifications preferred but not required
**Education**
Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Data Science, Bachelor’s: Information Technology, High School (HS) (Required)
