SCOPE OF LEADERSHIP ROLE 

The Marketing Director will lead a segment level team of marketers aligned to both key industry verticals as well as Divisions within the Industrial Powertrain Solutions and Conveying business segments.  This leader will oversee a team of 10 marketers responsible for developing and executing marketing plans aligned to the Industry and Division goals. The team will focus on content development, Industry expertise and thought leadership, campaign development and trade show leadership.  In addition the leader must focus on and understand performance metrics and tracking tools for the team’s activities 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

campaign planning and execution at both an Industry level and Divisional level with focus on integrated messages at various levels of detail, from industry messaging down to focus/new product messaging to the target audience.  Suggest, develop, implement, and assess marketing campaigns across diverse customer personas and sales channels, including lead generation, thought leadership programs, webinars, event marketing, etc. Cultivate expertise and impact in designated vertical markets and associated products to enhance marketing campaigns. Partner with product marketing and the team to strategize and oversee activities that draw target audiences to our content (blog posts, whitepapers, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.). Content Development leadership:  Digital, Traditional, PR, Social media content focused on various target personas at both an OEM and replacement parts audience Industry value proposition development and thought leadership to be able to drive marketing strategies and execution within focus growth industries Traditional and Digital communication expertise, including Catalogs, Literature, Web, and digital asset development and execution Experience in Video strategy, development and execution Leadership capabilities to drive results both within the direct team and across key business stakeholders to develop a cohesive go to market strategy across multiple industries and product categories 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum Requirements: 

A bachelor's degree in marketing, business or communication is required, MBA preferred 10+ years of experience in marketing programs and/or marketing campaigns; minimum 5+ years in a marketing leadership capacity Have proven experience in B2B Marketing leadership Experience leading large teams and developing talent Broad range of marketing skills, including digital, brand strategy, new product launch experience, advertising/media planning, lead generation, channel management, and overall marketing strategy development Understand current marketing trends Self-starter, desire to learn and contribute
