About The Role 

The Director of EMEA Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the EMEA region, aimed at driving pipeline generation, increasing brand visibility, and supporting revenue growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and strong leadership skills. You will work closely with regional leadership and global marketing teams to identify campaigns, messaging, events, and full-funnel strategies that enable growth  across the EMEA region.


You will be responsible for leading the EMEA field marketing team, driving pipeline growth through innovative marketing strategies, and ensuring close collaboration with sales to maximize revenue opportunities. Your understanding of CloudBees' market and customer challenges will be essential in creating impactful marketing initiatives.


What You’ll Do

Strategic Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with overall business goals for EMEA.Drive cross-functional marketing strategies and demand-generating programs to increase bookings across the product suite.

Pipeline Generation

Focus on driving a significant portion of EMEA marketing-sourced pipeline and bookings.Utilize target account, persona, and buying intent data to inform marketing strategies and drive pipeline growth.

EMEA Marketing Programs

Create and manage field and demand marketing programs that support lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales enablement efforts.Work closely with regional sales and business development leadership and sales teams to understand target customers and partners and go-to-market strategy, working together to align marketing plan and execution with unique geographic market needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Collaborate with the centralized Product Marketing, Corporate Marketing, and Demand Generation teams as well as local agencies (PR/Media) to influence in region strategies.

Budget Management

Effectively manage the  field marketing budget to ensure optimal resource allocation and maximum ROI.

Vendor and Partner Management

Build and maintain relationships with event vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to enhance campaign execution and unlock additional opportunities.

Metrics and Analytics

Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of EMEA marketing programs.Analyze data to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI to senior management.

Team Leadership

Lead a team of regional field marketers located in different geographic regions supporting the sales and business development organization across EMEA North, Central, and South geos.Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.

Role Requirements

Typically, Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Minimum 10+ years’ experience with at least 5 years in a field marketing or related role.Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, directly managing a team, preferably within a similar industry or tech-driven environment.Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.Proven track record of high-impact success; high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial work ethic required to drive business outcomes.Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve goals and exceed expectations.Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, or comparable marketing automation tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in understanding and delivering clear and compelling value propositions; strong presentation skills desired.Ability to lead multiple initiatives and deliver under tight deadlines.Innovative with the ability to turn that innovation into real-life projects and actions that drive impact in the field.Required to travel at least 25%.
