The Director, Lance Marketing is charged with growing that share even more! This leader is responsible for developing and executing brand and business growth plans across all retail channels of distribution. Reporting to the Vice President of Crackers Marketing, this position leads strategic portfolio development, base business demand driving actions and P&L management, base product innovation, creative briefings, and daily operations of the business including pricing, revenue, and profitability analysis, and developing and coaching direct reports. Manages entire sub-function or multiple disciplines through managers of managers of staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Deliver total fiscal-year Lance revenue, profit plan, and share growth plans.
2. Collaborate with strategic thought partners in Integrated Marketing, Innovation, and Insights to build long term brand and business growth plans.
3. Translate consumer insights and ideas into marketing strategy, plans, and communication platforms.
4. Lead the strategy for all new development efforts within the portfolio, including product, packaging, and design.
5. Lead team to deliver annual marketing plans that meet or exceed stated volume, profit, and share objectives.
6. Develop deep understanding and knowledge of the category and react quickly to consumer and competitive changes.
7. Key decision maker and advisor in integrated business planning (S&OP) process; track and assess plan forecast and performance, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks to the plan.
8. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring strategic and efficient use of spend.
9. Independently motivate and lead cross-functional/organizational communication regarding emerging business issues among Marketing, Manufacturing, R&D/QA, Finance, and Executive Leadership Team.

The Director, Lance Marketing requires a strong sense of enterprise-wide mindset to ensure strategic priorities & financial decisions are in the best interest of the business and total company. Expected to be able to formulate sound strategies as well as to oversee and drive executional excellence in all initiatives. Strong leadership skills are required to create direction; a "can do attitude" with a strong drive for results will be necessary to overcome obstacles and motivate the team. Must be able to juggle and advance multiple priorities at once, in a timely fashion, with high-quality output across multiple functions in the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$169,400-$243,600Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
