This role must be located within a commutable distance of any MedTech R&D site ( _Irvine, CA, Raynham, MA, Warsaw, IN, Raritan, NJ, Cincinnati, OH, West Chester, PA, or Palm Beach Gardens, FL_ ). **Purpose** : This role will lead and coordinate all operational initiatives related to the R&D MedTech portfolio and will be responsible for simplifying the way we work and streamlining our product portfolio data across all MedTech Business Units. Key responsibilities include reducing portfolio process complexity, driving improved efficiency, improved financial performance and unlocking opportunities for future growth for J&J MedTech. **You will be responsible for** : + Directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrix environment and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback. + Communicates strategic vision, from executives, and champions and carries out high-level corporate development initiatives, from initial planning and validation, through project review, analysis, and final implementation. + Business owner of R&D MedTech’s Portfolio and Project Management software. Develop methodology, software updates, change management and training based on business initiatives/needs and voice of the customer inputs to drive transparency, efficiency and better business results . + Ensure data quality, strive for continual ways to digitize NPI business data and make available through data catalog, cloud, data lake environments to pair with other data to drive transparency and better decision making. + Coordinates departmental activities, ensuring that all key performance measures are aligned to ensure critical milestones and deadlines are met for customer’s specific operational needs and requirements. + Responsible for managing operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs. + Proactively creates a purpose driven environment by aligning Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives with the strategies and goals of the team and enterprise. **Qualifications/Requirements** : + Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree **required** , Advanced Degree _preferred_ . + At least 10-12+ years experience, inclusive of Portfolio Management, Project Management, Business Management, Strategic Planning, Information Technology, New Product Development and/or adjacent experience to those listed. + Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple partners across a matrix organization + Ability to prioritize and to successfully lead multiple projects/priorities as the directly responsible individual (DRI) in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to establish a strategy, a project plan and then execute proactively, be it independently or within a team. + Directs cross-functional and broader business partners to deliver upon strategic priorities and aligned execution and milestones. + Exceptional interpersonal, professionalism and presentation skills, with ability to manage up and down organizational hierarchies. + Experience in Medical Devices/Pharmaceuticals/Technology strongly preferred. + Experience in portfolio management tools strongly preferred, Planisware software experience is strongly preferred. + Change Management experience is strongly preferred. + Direct people management, supervisory and/or project management experience in a cross functional environment strongly preferred. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
