How You Will Make a Difference

What you will do:

Category Merchandising for Genuine Dickies:

Strategy development: Create and implement comprehensive merchandising strategies to drive sales growth and profitability for the Genuine Dickies categoryMarket analysis:  Develop a strong understanding of the market with a priority on Walmart, to identify opportunities and threats, utilizing insights to drive informed decision makingCross functional collaboration:  Collaborate closely with design, development, marketing, product supply, sales team to ensure strong communication and successful seasonal executionPortfolio optimization:  Continuously analyze the category and evaluate changes needed to improve efficiency, relevance, profitability and commercial viabilityDrive profitability:  Direct category pricing and inform/approve product costing to achieve financial targetsGTM leadership:  Drive execution of seasonal product creation to ensure on-time completion through GTM process

Innovation Leadership:

Product Innovation: Lead the development of long-term innovative product strategies that drive growth and differentiation across all brand categories.Being a value-oriented brand, innovation and pricing strategies need to align with this brand positioning. This role will ensure that innovations maintain the value proposition that consumers expect, and ensure those innovations have potential to scale.Collaboration with Category Merchandisers:  Work closely with tri-color merchants to ensure the long-term strategies developed are practical and meet the needs of each category

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in apparel merchandising, vertical retailing is preferred with at least 5 years of managerial experience

Educational Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Merchandising or related area preferred or equivalent work experience

Hiring Range:

$155,520.00 USD - $194,400.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
