Director, MF Systems ProgrammingChennai, IndiaJR011036 **Position: Mainframe Engineering Leader** We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Engineering Leader to join our team, focusing on driving revenue growth through Mainframe transformation and infrastructure modernization. **Responsibilities:** + **Strategy Development** : Create and implement a modernization strategy for Mainframe Infrastructure that enhances innovation, automation, productivity, and efficiency, including z/OS/ISV upgrades, PTF management, and AIOps. + **Technical Guidance** : Provide expert advice and support to Sysprogs on Mainframe modernization and migration to the latest tools, such as z/OSMF, Watson X for z, AIOps, Ansible, Python, and upgrade workflows. + **Opportunity Identification** : Utilize extensive knowledge of Mainframe architecture to identify and prioritize modernization opportunities. + **Collaboration** : Work closely with Sysprogs, SDMs, vendors, and clients to maximize the use of our capabilities and services. + **Business Development** : Partner with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities. + **Industry Awareness** : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to Mainframe strategies to maintain a competitive edge. **Required Technical and Professional Experience:** + **Experience** : Over 10 years of technical expertise as a z/OS SysProg, with a focus on Mainframe transformation, IBMi modernization, and generative AI.
