As the Director of National Sales, you will build and implement innovative sales strategies to inspire our talented sales team to reach new milestones. You will leverage market insights that directly impact our company objectives and build actionable and scalable plans to capture diverse customer segments.  You will partner with your Account Executives to drive key strategic initiatives and capitalize on new opportunities by leveraging your expertise in building strong customer relationship. In This Role\nCreate and implement sales strategies that align with corporate objectives, utilizing market trends and insights to drive revenue growth \nDevelop and refine tailored sales playbooks for different customer segments, continuously evaluating their effectiveness based on feedback and market changes \nAssess and optimize the distribution of accounts and territories, ensuring alignment with team strengths, capacity, and overall sales objectives \nCreate and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts, addressing challenges and recommending adjustments to strategies as needed \nManage the Territory sales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and maximizing return on investment \nAccompany and observe Account Executives in the field, assisting in customer visits and fostering direct relationships \nGuide the Territory Sales Team through transitions, such as new system integrations and account load shifts, ensuring continued motivation and performance \nConduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats, adjusting sales strategies accordingly \nDrive growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and exploring new markets \nMentor and coach a high-performing sales team, providing the tools and support necessary for success \nPartner with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and other teams to create a unified approach to market insights and customer satisfaction; collaborating cross-departmentally to address business issues and capitalize on new opportunities  \nCollaborate with executive leaders to identify strategic accounts and negotiate contracts that support company objectives \nEnsure effective onboarding and continuous training for sales team members, focusing on product knowledge and sales offerings \nEstablish revenue goals for Territory Sales Team members and monitor performance against these goals throughout the year \nMonitor and assess the Territory Sales Team's compensation structure, collaborating with cross-functional leadership to ensure fairness and competitiveness \nAttend and lead at industry tradeshows and outside events throughout the year to enhance brand visibility, network with key stakeholders, and gather market insights \nOther duties as assigned by Management\nUphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team: \nBe open and honest \nReach for excellence \nAct with responsibility \nValue the whole person \nEnjoy the journey\n\n\n

The Ideal Person\nMinimum of 10 years of sales experience in the furniture industry or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred\nExperience in furniture or similar industry highly preferred\nDemonstrated success in developing and executing national sales strategies and achieving revenue targets\nStrong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring sales teams\nIn-depth understanding of the furniture wholesale market, including key players, trends, and competitive dynamics\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively and negotiate with clients and stakeholders\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in interpreting data to drive decision-making\nWillingness to travel nationally as require\n
