Director, Neuroscience Virtual Programs
We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-Valley **Position Overview:** Provides program leadership, administrative oversight and implementation for neuroscience virtual programs. Leads all program planning, program committees, outcome measurement, financial management and regulatory initiatives (if needed: Joint Commission, California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), etc.) and growth related to Neuroscience virtual programs while maintaining effective physician relations, performing service utilization and financial analysis, overseeing marketing efforts, and managing information. Works with staff and leaders across the continuum of care to develop and implement program goals and identify resources/support for program needs. The team will consist of the director, a program coordinator, and IS analyst and the current RN program manager. The RN program manager will continue to be the point person for telestroke, be able to increase focus on performance improvement, and advise/guide on quality metrics/issues for all three programs. The coordinator will serve as the point person for the EEG reading panel and will provide coordinator duties for all three programs, and the director will provide oversight of all three programs, collectively "Neuroscience Virtual Care Programs," serve as the primary point person for the TeleNeuro program and drive growth of the programs outside of the Sutter system. Currently, the challenge we face growing Telestroke outside of the Sutter system is that organizations also would like TeleNeuro and EEG reading panel services. Duties include, but are not limited to: Oversee Neuroscience Virtual Programs (10+ internal hospitals across Sutter system, 30-40+ MDs, 3 team members, partnerships with team members across hospitals receiving services and foundations and medical groups employing MDs to provide the services). Serve as point person for the TeleNeuro program Set strategy and drive growth to outside hospitals for all three programs (with focus on Telestroke) - High priority hospital identification - Outreach and marketing - Onboarding process for outside hospitals with collateral - Create and implement other programs as needs arise. Financials: - Review Physicians professional fee billing monthly - Approve physician timecards - Monitor Physician timecard processing - Oversee outside billing, processing and payments - Lead development of team culture in partnership with Medical Directors - Robust onboarding process - Feedback and engagement with team Technology oversight: - Cart deployment - Support service Education oversight: - Develop physician / initial / internal / external education plan for programs in collaboration with team Additional Duties: - Transfer Center collaboration - MD onboarding, ongoing training and tracking **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ + Master's: Healthcare management or related field **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** + 12 years recent relevant experience. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** + Demonstration of effective management skills, knowledge of hospital administration and agency compliance in patient care delivery systems. + Ability to work effectively with a broad range of physicians, employees and vendors to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Solid understanding of operations and workflows, and how department’s process/workflow impacts other department operations. + Demonstrates ability to effectively plan and provide services consistent with applicable legal standards and regulations. + Interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver presentations to a variety of audiences. + Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts and communicate information or issues in a manner that is readily understood by management and employees. + Demonstrates effectiveness in achieving goals through individuals without having direct control of those resources. **Job Shift:** Days **Schedule:** Full Time **Days of the Week:** Monday - Friday **Weekend Requirements:** Occasionally **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** No **Position Status:** Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Employee Status:** Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans. Pay Range is $71.33 to $106.99 / hour. Bay Area Pay Range is $81.05 to $121.58 / hour. _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
