Job Description
The Director for Omnichannel Standards and Transformation is responsible for co-development of omnichannel standards e.g. data sharing and ensuring the seamless integration of omnichannel strategies into the TA medical execution while maintaining compliance with medical regulations and the defined standards. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with Therapeutic Area (TA) Scientific and Medical Directors, cross-functional teams (e.g., Medical compliance Excellence, Commercial, Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC), Legal, Customer Excellence etc.) and senior leaders to develop, align and execute initiatives that advance external customer engagement and internal medical capabilities with particular attention paid to standards and governance across the Medical Affairs & Health Impact (MHI) organization.
This individual will report to the Director & Lead of Omnichannel Strategy and Standards, within the medical engagement organization and partner closely with Brand Excellence, Field Excellence and Operational Standards Lead in delivering omnichannel strategy and channel content frameworks adhering to the highest scientific standards.
Responsibilities:
+ Omnichannel Strategy and Standards Development:
+ Align omnichannel strategies and standards with overall medical and business objectives.
+ Build omnichannel capabilities (people, process and technology) in partnership with MHI SMEs e.g. BTS, Learning
+ Identify new opportunities and trends in healthcare communication and digital engagement.
+ Stay updated on medical regulations and industry trends: Keep abreast of evolving medical regulations, guidelines, and industry trends. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and share knowledge and insights with the team to propose new strategies and initiatives.
+ Channel Integration:
+ Ensure seamless integration of channels in collaboration with cross functional partners (e.g., webinars, digital platforms, in-person events, CRM, etc.).
+ Design and implement healthcare professional journeys that maximize each channel's impact.
+ Partner with Content Excellence to align scientific communication model (modular content), across channels to maintain consistency.
+ Insights analysis and implementation of channel Analytics:
+ Partner with Medical Impact to build data analytics to inform strategy and measure channel engagement.
+ Drive channel decision-making through insights gathered from HCP engagement metrics, and journey analytics.
+ Collaboration and Leadership:
+ Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., medical affairs, regulatory, commercial) and external partners to execute omnichannel strategies.
+ Lead and mentor team members to drive omnichannel initiatives
+ Act as a subject matter expert on omnichannel medical within the organization.
+ Technology and Tools:
+ Evaluate in partnership with cross functional team technologies and tools that support omnichannel initiatives in the medical field.
+ Stay updated with advancements in healthcare communication technologies and platforms.
+ Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and medical best practices.
+ Continuously improve HCP journeys based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
+ Advanced degree required (PharmD, DO, PhD, MD, MBA, master’s in science, RN, RPH, or related healthcare professional master’s degree).
+ Minimum 12 years of combined Medical Affairs experience (may include blend of commensurate commercial experience). Experience in transformation or organization change initiatives and cross- functional experience beneficial.
+ Brand experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to translate business needs into strategically aligned functional plans. Experience with compliance and governance programs a plus.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop, articulate and negotiate projects and priorities across functions and leadership, without direct authority.
+ Strong tactical execution and project management experience required. Record of successfully developing and implementing enterprise solutions/ capabilities.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, executive presence, and relationship building skills required. Customer experience focused, both internally and externally. Ability to Interact with and influence all levels of management and across teams to develop strategies and execute action plans that will achieve the objectives.
+ Excellent implementation, self-management and organizational skills; able to manage workload, set personal and team priorities and adjust as needed; ability to execute or implement deliverables in a timely manner.
+ Strong business acumen: ability to think strategically and translate a strategy to an innovative and implementable plan.
+ Experience in leading in a matrixed environment, across multiple functions, as well as in a virtual setting.
+ Strong problem-solving skills: ability to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrence within the team.

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $151,500 - $288,000
